Al-Hadath - descripció, revisió, qualificació

Al-Hadath is a Saudi Arab news channel that started broadcasting in 2012 on Thursday 12/1/2012. It is a subsidiary channel of Al Arabiya News Channel, its director is Mamdouh Al-Muhaini. More coverage of the Arab revolutions, support for the Syrian revolution, press coverage, political dialogues and documentaries, so that Al-Arabiya channel at that time would follow up on its coverage and regular programs instead of long follow-ups.
Followers see that it comes in the context of competition with Al-Jazeera, especially after Al-Arabiya succeeded in covering the Syrian civil war and some other events of the Arab Spring.
In July 2020, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip announced that Al-Hadath and Al-Arabiya channels were banned from operating in the Gaza Strip, after they broadcast reports alleging the arrest of a cell of the Al-Qassam Brigades on charges of collaborating with Israel. The Ministry of the Interior and Hamas, through its political bureau member Musa Abu Marzouk, confirmed the arrest warrant for a cell on charges of collaborating with Israel. They also denied that they have a common link, and they are not leaders in the movement or in the Qassam.
